About the family

Raseem is drawn for the constraints of user interfaces: small sizes, variable rendering engines, and a lot of numerals. Apertures stay open even in the heavier weights, and characters that are commonly confused — the numeral one, the lowercase l, the uppercase I — are drawn to be distinguishable without looking eccentric.

Interface features

Tabular figures are drawn to the same width across every weight, so numbers don’t reflow when a value changes or a row is emphasised. A slashed zero is available for settings where the distinction matters.

The variable weight axis runs continuously from 100 to 700, which makes it practical to ship a single file and derive an entire UI type scale from it.
