Overview

About the family

Naluth keeps the modulation of a broad-nib pen without imitating a specific historical hand. Stroke weight shifts with direction, which gives each word a rhythm that a monolinear face cannot produce.

Alternates

Contextual alternates do most of the work automatically: entry and exit strokes adjust to their neighbours so connections stay smooth regardless of the word. Swash forms are available on demand for terminal letters, where a longer exit stroke can balance a headline.

The discretionary ligature set includes several extended forms intended for display use only — they are deliberately not on by default.
